Permission error on Codeium page when using the vim plugin

I am using https://github.com/Exafunction/windsurf.vim on neovim.

I ran :Codeium Auth to authenticate, and I can confirm that autocompletions work in my editor.

However when I type :Codeium Chat and a new chat opens in my browser any prompt fails with permission denied.

I am running Arch Linux and the issue occurs both in Firefox and Chromium.
