For me, everything was clear and useful. One thing I'd like to go over again because I feel there are so many options and it is perhaps a bit unclear is the license choice.

I do have some trouble with making the DMP. My project is funded by NWO, and I do now have a DMP from the person leading the consortium I am part of, however this DMP seems to be simultaneously for the grant as a whole but also just for their own part in the project (e.g. while the project summary and collaborators/contributors include the whole project, the actual described data only includes their part of the project and uses their university system for storage. I'm also not sure which DMP template is used, probably from their university?) Then for my own DMP, I’m a bit unsure what to fill in, e.g. for the contributors I should add all PIs involved in the consortium as well? Whom should i consider the project leader for my subpart of the project for which I am writing this DMP? Maybe this is a bit too involved for a question in this discussion section haha.

Also, I’m noticing I find it hard to fill in the data table with regards to code, I feel like ‘purpose of processing’ is a bit of a weird question for this.

No worries! It might be more helpful in your case to take their template and add your information to it if it is a word document? It is not very important which template you use (unless you collect personal data!), so as long as you answer all the questions on: where do you store the data, where will you share it afterwards, what documentation will accompany the data, etc, it is a good DMP!

For contributors: do you expect to work together with everyone in the project? Or only certain groups/people? Perhaps just add the working package/groups instead of listing every individual member?

The project leader is probably your supervisor? Or is there someone leading the working package that you're in?

The purpose of processing is more important for when you work with personal data - for other data it doesn't make a lot of sense. You mostly want to answer your research questions, so you can also leave that one empty! The data types and formats and where you'll store it is more important for that question!

@EstherPlomp thanks, this helped a lot! The DMP I got was in pdf format and not editable. I will just fill it in using the TU Delft template and add the contributors/project leader that I think makes sense right now, and then later discuss this with my supervisor and also the consortium leader.

The DMP platform is very clear, But I strongly believe that this exercise should be done along with my supervisor or PI to get project-specific experience on how each data is treated. Some of the questions are very far from now that I probably will be able to answer later in my study, or closer to a publication perhaps!

Definitely get your PI/supervisor involved in this! The idea of the DMP is also not to be a static document and to be updated whenever your project progresses further. It is also more of a map or pointer towards the resources that you'll need (so which data repository you'll use when you eventually get to publication!).
