Issue with the astable clock circuit #7
Description
There appears to be an issue with the alternative astable (by @loneregister) as laid out in the PDF which would be a big gotcha for new players...
Pin 7 from the 555 should be connected to Vcc via the charge resistor (r1 in most astable diagrams but R2 in this diagram). This schematic clearly shows R2 connecting to Ground though R2 and thus the astable should never start in this config:
Ben's setup clearly shows the charge resistor connected between Pin 7 and Vcc:
This image also shows R4 between pins 6 & 7 which goes on to become the variable resistor. Can this please be updated?
