Mining drones don't get launched when they should.

Also when carrying multiple kinds of drones, ie. A mix of Mining and Combat drones, also the mining drones get send out when rats enter the belt.

Carrying just combat drones all seems to work fine, drones get launched, kill the rats and are being pulled back in again.
Also when warping or anything arises that needs the drones to be recalled, they are being recalled correctly.

Mining drones are currently disabled pending better use of them. Can you give some insight into how you'd use them, either here or on Discord? Specifically, do you want them on their own roid, or is it ok if they combine with a laser? Max reasonable travel distance? etc

I think the reasonable travel distance could be set to max laser range?
Boosted my maximum range is about 34km, that's a bit far but most of the time the targets are closer than that. That should work just fine.

It's difficult to tell what would be the best way to use mining drones since having one separate target would also claim another rock which could be mined faster with lasers, but combining them would mess with the short cycle code i guess.

I'd say for now, them having their own rock would be the easiest way to get them working again.

So with all the changes made to mining would we even want to add mining drone support? The residual lost is about 40% meaning you the ability to mine 40% of the ore your drones mine making the overall belt/site/moon/ice worth that much less.
