Describe the bug

The screens are very slow, when I click on the icon, it first pops up a little box for several seconds (image attached) - then it popups up the full size - but empty - screen for several more seconds. In full it can take 10-20 seconds before the actual screen populates.

Do you use the pre-release version from the chrome web store?

I am familiar with this behavior when I use the dev version but do not run the developer server pnpm run dev:chrome. This is because the assets are provided by the wxt dev server.

I can't really reproduce this. But I've made some adjustments where I suspected the problem might be. Please let me know if the issue persists or has been resolved.

I am in Beta 4 as of today. So far I don't see the issue any more. I will let know if I see the issue again
