Add authentication (login and sign up)

Hi, I’d like to work on this!

What I’ll Do:

• Add user authentication (Sign Up + Login).

• Store user info securely in a database (MongoDB).

• Passwords will be hashed using bcrypt.

• Use JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for session management.

Features to Implement:

• /register route for new users

• /login route for existing users

• Secure backend with JWT tokens

• Frontend UI for login/signup + logout button

• Tasks will be tied to the logged-in user only

Estimated Time:

• Backend: 40 minutes

• Frontend: 40 minutes

• Testing: 10 mins

How to Reproduce Current Issue:

• Open the ToDo app.

• Notice that there’s no login/signup — all tasks are public and shared across users.

• No session management or user-specific data.
