Add MyPy Static Typing

I'm very open to rigorous typing in this repository and reporting MyPy linting performance. I havn't prioritized this yet as I have been in early rapid prototyping mode. But it's a good time now to go over the codebase and add type declarations throughout the package. This is a good contribution for someone who wants to get to know the code and offer general refactoring.
