Bug Report: Engine will not open

What version of the engine are you using?

I have used 1.0.1 and the "Remove linux-selfhosted, no longer needed" nightly build (latest linux build that succeeded)

Which target are you using?

[x] Linux (Mint 22.2 XFCE)

Please check first if your issue haven't already been reported yet.

In short, on my Linux machine, the engine is not opening. No window. It has permission to run and yet it doesn't even seem to be showing up in my Task Manager.

I do not have a screen recorder, and cannot download one as of now, since I do not know my PC's password.

Have you tried opening with the terminal and seeing what happens there?

Sorry, I had to reinstall my OS because of a different problem. I'll actually try the terminal now.

It may be due to Linux Mint not having gRun installed, but I'm struggling to install it.

Apparently, gmRun, a similar program to gRun, which actually installed, didn't work. So, it's likely to be something related to the builds themselves.

By gmRun, are you referring to Gnome Completion-Run? Launchers shouldn't be able to interfere with starting the program.

Since you stated that you reinstalled your OS, what are your current system specifications? One way to get this would be to use inxi -CGS in the terminal.
