Google search AI Mode does not work while clearurls filter is active

If i turn on clearurls and then click on Google "AI Mode" I get this error
"Something went wrong and an AI response wasn't generated."

as soon as I turn off clearurls and refresh, things work again.

The network inspector shows it's removing the ei and ved parameters from the url.
