Let's get the good stuff out of the way first

1. Your solution here is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo simple.

I've searched and tested containers for 40+ hours before i found this. I found ~8 other repos most did not work, and all of them were massive in comparison.

This is the closest i came to a working deployment

1. A devcontainer
2. Calls a docker compose file
3. That builds a dockerfile
4. Using an entrypoint.sh
5. Nightmares and depression

My Ask
Create a pull request adding this to the official list of templates via this file

Why

• I'm altruistic and want to save others the headache I went through.
• There are many form posts seeking a devcontainer with systemd, or a devcontainer that can deploy k3s without k3d
• Unhelpful form responses like "don't do it because" or "this is not how containers are intended to be run"
