I would prefer this is done in a safe manner that implements automatic validation, etc. PHP doesn't handle this well, so I would prefer if it was written in Django, RoR, Node or Flask. For future maintenance purposes, I want to handle as little of the security as possible because it is easy for someone to make a mistake in updating it.

@flora8984461 Let me know if I should change the tasks. I can help a little bit (outside of code reviews), but I'm already revamping the main IEEE Carleton website.
