program hangs when recording

I am running this program on a Windows machine.  I loaded a Java program, highlighted a line, hit record, then hit the stop record button.  At this point the program hangs with a spinning icon.
I've tried on a few devices, same result.

If possible, can the source code be posted for debugging?
