Very fragile with poor connections. #277

The Blockstream wallet is fantastic, but it becomes quite unusable with weaker connections or during times of slow connectivity. Even the Emergency Recovery Phrase Restore, which should be a tool to recover seeds if I can't log into the wallet, is useless when the internet speed drops.

I understand the purpose of services and accounts like AMP and 2FA, and I find them very useful, but I believe it’s important to strike a balance. In emergencies, I need to download other wallets to log into my account because even though I have Blockstream, if I'm in a place with a slightly weaker connection, it won’t open. Meanwhile, other wallets might take longer to load, but they sync up and show my balance, allowing me to spend my money.

It's faster to go to the Play Store, download another wallet, type in the recovery phrase word by word, restore it, sync it, and send my Bitcoins where I want than it is to simply log into my Blockstream wallet.

I find it frustrating because it’s literally my favourite wallet, but this issue of being completely UNUSABLE when I need to go to places with slower internet is dreadful.

This isn’t a request to get rid of your AMP and 2FA services that rely on the internet, but rather to allow or provide an option for users to at least open the wallet, sync it, and use their Bitcoins in the main accounts in case of slow internet.

It would be beneficial to add a feature where, if the wallet doesn’t log in within a predetermined time, say 15 seconds, it opens regardless, prioritising the loading of the balances from the main addresses while keeping AMP and 2FA in the background for later. And of course, allow the Emergency Recovery Phrase Restore to work partially or offline.
