make_wein_tail does not allow to assume a teff to approximate the SED

I noticed that the function make_wein_tail does not allow to assume a teff to approximate the spectrum at short wavelengths, and just adds a point at almost zero wavelength with a very low flux. It would be useful if I can assume a teff from the start for this approximation, to then estimate a precise teff with the fbol.

Hi @rkiman, do you have a specific example in mind? You are right that currently the make_wein_tail adds a point at almost zero wavelegnth for the SED, but it is possible to give it a Teff if you have an idea already about what the value will be.

The teff in the wein_tail is set to None, and it doesn't take an input from the user right now. So if I define a teff from my code, it doesn't reach the wein tail
def make_wein_tail(self, teff=None):
A similar problem is happening with the Rayleigh Jeans tail that defines a teff of 5000 without taking into account the input teff.
def make_rj_tail(self, teff=5000 * q.K)
Maybe when this part of the code happens

        self.make_wein_tail()
        self.make_rj_tail()

it would be useful for self.teff to be the input teff.

        self.make_wein_tail(teff=self.teff)
        self.make_rj_tail(teff=self.teff)

I just tried this on an old notebook and I used the following:
I initialized the sed like normal with s = SED(). Then I ran the following:

s.make_wein_tail(teff=2500 * u.K)
s.make_rj_tail()
s.make_sed()
I think it is letting me provide a teff since I can still plot the calculated sed after, but tell me if it works for you, because I didn't try providing a teff for rj tail. The u.K is from astropy units I defined earlier. If it doesn't work, then I can work on adding this is a more robust way!

That solution doesn't work for me when spectra is included because the wein tail requires the spectrum s.app_spec_SED to make the normalization, which is not defined until you run make_sed(). I think the easiest solution is to include in the make_sed() function:
self.make_wein_tail(teff=self.teff)
self.make_rj_tail(teff=self.teff)
and also being careful with the uncertainty treatment for both tails.
