how to find static adress

on memory engine how o you find static adresses to where i dont have to keep searching for the adress every time i load a game cause the game i play the rounds are short and the address takes like 10 minutes to find and i wanna know how to get static addresses or just find the address faster but i would prefer how to find static adresses

You can just search for every address with the current ammo count, and maybe one of those addresses will be static. You can tell if you restart the game (without clearing results list), reload the level/map/etc and see which one still maps to the ammo. If none of them do then you gotta do a pointer scan for one of those addresses and see if you can spot a pattern

Scanning is slow on ps3 if that's what you're on, because CCAPI/PS3MAPI weren't designed with software like this in mind i guess. They do a bunch of unnecessary that slows it down.

i dont know how to pointer scan cause i havent been able to find any tutorials for memory engine cause cheat engine tutorials the pointer scanning is different

There's a wiki page, this one is for pointer scanning. You basically just memory dump the game running (if on xbox, go to Tools>Module Explorer, select default.xex or default_mp and then click Dump in the top right. Otherwise for PS3, click File > Memory Dump, and I assume dump from 0x00000000 to maybe 0x02000000), then load it into the scanner (Open Memory File), change the "Search address" field to the address of the ammo count that works, and click Run Scan

Oh ok and also you know how to get no cooldown/find player location etc? its Ok if you dont knew since i dont need it that much

There's a few ways but in some games (e.g. cod) they work, whereas others game (e.g. Wet and Section 8) i just can't find anything. This is how to find any value that you think exists within a certain range, so not just X/Y/Z coords.

Click Expr to enable expression scanning, select Float, and set the expression to scan a range that you think the player is located in, in any axis of your choice (e.g. X axis).

v > -10000 && v < 10000 && abs(v) > 0.01.

The reason abs(v) > 0.01 is so that it won't find floats with a value less than or equal to 0.01, which probably are not your X coords, because you will find A LOT of results with a value of 0. You might also have to add && v == v on the end but I can't remember. Floats are weird and NaN is not equal to itself, but it's possible to find NaN results, so that excludes NaN results.

That will probably yield you something like 40000 results (which is gonna take forever on ps3)

Then, move your player by like a bus length i'd say, then stop, then change the expression to abs(v-prev) > 0.1. That will remove any results whose previous value is basically the exact same as the current one, which it shouldn't be for the X pos since you moved the player.

Then, set the expression to abs(v-prev) > 0.1, make sure you don't move your player, and then run next scan. This will keep any results whose values stayed the same and removed any that changed. If you didn't move, nothing should change, so it keeps the unchanged results.

And pretty much just keep flipping between those last two expressions. Make sure you move in the same direction each time!!! If you don't, you risk accidentally moving along the X or Z axis, so your X/Z position won't change and your results will be scrap. If you still can't find anything, start the scan from scratch, but move in a different direction by maybe like 20 degrees, and move maybe twise as far each time. Note you can move back and forth in the same and opposite directions, that should work fine.

No cooldown might be way harder if the game stores that as an enum value, but I suppose you could just check for integer value changes. So expression scan for v when you know it's off, which will yield millions of results, then somehow get the game to turn it on, and scan for changes. Then when the game turns it off, scan again, and repeat this until you get a result that looks good. And then look at the hex or binary value and see if you can spot what bit/bits are changing. Then if you want you can use a lua script or even mod tool to turn that into a toggle button.

You'd just copy the value into windows calculator (set to programmer mode) and it shows you the hex and binary value
