FWIW: as of release v0.32.0 of ytt , the --ignore-unknown-comments flag is no longer needed.

Hi @pivotaljohn, thanks for letting us know! We'll keep this in mind for a future sprint.

I see there's been a steady flow of releases, definitely will be interesting to see if the update also enables us to simplify our config.
