Submit button event not caputre

https://www.wikipedia.org/ page when I click on the "search" button, it can not capture the click event. The button type = submit.

Hi @raju44u and @rickypatnaik, thanks for letting me know about this issue. The reason this happens is because that button navigates away from the current page, wiping out the in-memory event queue that is registered for each page.

One possible fix that comes to mind is to keep the queue in localStorage or sessionStorage, instead of in the page's global script scope, so the event queue is preserved during navigation.
