Simple Autocompletion

Would it be a problem to support a simple autocompletion? I mean the simplest method would be to provide an array of strings.

I think that something like this would brake the whole constraint of a pure 'wrapper' being a direct and transparent reflection of the original library... but if you have an idea for how it could be implemented I guess it would be open for discussion

I don't know ACE so much, so I imagined there is an autocompletion support working as I described. I thought it will be just adding a simple wrapping method. Apparently it's not so simple.

So yes, ACE offers pretty good autocomplete support, and emmet support for html awesome. I'm sure you could provide additional strings, but I don't know how to do that. I would suggest trying to fiddle with the flags I've mentioned above and only worry about adding more if they don't appear to be enough.

How does it work? These are only boolean properties, so I'm not able to set my own autocompletion word list

Yes that's right.

If ACE allows one to set custom word lists, then a method would need to be added to the ACENative code that allowed you to do this from ObjC/Swift.

We would gladly accept a PR for such an enhancement.
